    光催化氧化是在外界可见光的作用下发生催化作用,光催化氧化反应是以半导体及空气为催化剂,以光为能量,将有机物降解为CO2和H2O。UV光催化设备是目前工业废气处理技术中*的技术之一,UV光催化设备的开发充分考虑了工业废气性质的不确定性和复杂性,从工程的设计、配套、安装、调试、维护等方面提供了很大的可行性、可靠性、灵活性、有效性。

    在光催化氧化反应中,通过紫外光照射在纳米TiO2光催化剂上产生电子空穴对,与表面吸附的水份(H2O)和氧气(O2)反应生成氧化性很活波的羟基自由基(OH-)和超氧离子自由基(O2-、0-)。能够把各种废臭气体如醛类、苯类、氨类、氮氧化物、硫化物及其它VOC类有机物、无机物在光催化氧化的作用下还原成二氧化碳(CO2)、水(H2O)以及其它无毒无害物质,同时具有除臭、消毒、杀菌的功效,由于在光催化氧化反应过程中无任何添加剂,所以不会产生二次污染。 

    光催化氧化设备工程核心中的纳米光催化触媒材料(GC-100)是一种吸收光能后,能在其表面产生催化反应的物质,当特定纳米波长的紫外光照射光催化触媒材料(GC-100)时,其表面发生光催化氧化还原反应。光催化触媒材料(GC-100)吸收光子后在其表面产生电子(E)和空穴(H+),将吸收的光能转化成化学能,即具有光催化作用。
